(You will not be writing or editing the manuscript yourself). Work with the Project Team to ensure all work on the book (writing, design, etc) reflects the author's voice and intent. Review all project details to decide how to best communicate with an author: maybe it's Zoom, a call, a text, or an email. Proactively and professionally communicate expectations to your authors so they always know what to expect and what's needed from them.These are some examples of tasks you'll be doing every day: You own the relationship with the author, all the way to the final result-which is ensuring we produce a book the author is proud of. You'll work directly with a Project Manager to ensure each part of the project exceeds the author's expectations and is in their best interest. You're their main point of contact and their leader through their book journey. The moment the author signs with us, you take over all communication with them. Ultimately, your job is to do all of the author-facing communication for our projects while curating an impeccable experience for our authors. You are the author's advocate, leader, and advisor on their publishing journey. As an expert, you'll build individual relationships with each author to ensure they trust Scribe Media and publish the book they want. You will be communicating with authors who are very successful, with complicated projects, and lots of different personalities. This is not a role for someone new to client communication. You're a Client Advocate in the sense that you are a true service professional. Your job is to ensure that every author you work with has a flawless experience with Scribe Media and always knows what's coming next. You'll work with a Project Team to keep track of these complex projects with lots of moving parts. You'll do this by setting expectations early and often, proactively communicating updates, and providing the author with a professional luxury experience. You're a Service Expert in the sense that you're responsible for leading the author through their book creation and publishing process. We call this role “Author Success Manager,” but the best way to think about this role is a mash-up of 'Service Expert” and “Client Advocate.” If this sounds like you, we've got your perfect career.
